This monkey received her name from the goddess of animals, wild and domestic, whose ancient sculpted portrait shows her hair braided in a crown on top of her head, just like the monkey’s white crown of fur. Her wisdom is evident in her face and expressive hand, her companionship with a raven, and a penguin who cannot walk but hops. From moment to moment, from rock to rock.
