Northern Rivers Series
The series came up as an amalgamation of ideas. The first, and most obvious, is Tom Thomson’s ‘Northern River’ painting and to combine with another inspiration of mine, digital media. I used various AI platforms to process the painting, using variations of the titles as prompts, to come up with new and unique interpretations of the source image. I particularly like how the process went from analog, to digital, and back again to analog.
