EXPRMNTS

Whether through thick layers of transparent glazes, or thin applications on a monofilament fibre, the idea was to have the paintings feel more dynamic. I wanted the paintings to shift and change, as the light  changes, evolving over time.

The thicker pieces are done by layering transparent glazes, using a squeegee, over each other. I'm using only 3 mixes, inspired by CMYK printing process. The sides of each piece show the stratigraphy of the process.
