Milan Rice
Luella is a portrait of an upcoming local music artist in the Kingston area and is also a childhood friend of mine. I painted this piece as a gift for her releasing her new album and a token of our long-lasting friendship. In the painting, Luella stares off into space representing the new beginnings of her career and future. This portrait shows my hopes and best wishes to Luella for pursuing her passion as a music artist. The city of Kingston has so much talent regarding the arts, and being surrounded by my friend and her work has inspired me to pursue my artistic passions in life.
