Olivia Coughtrey

As a fine artist with a fashion background, I love to explore moments in time while also incorporating some form of textile and play of light. “Victoria in the sunroom” captures a young girl twirling in a new dress with sunlight beaming on her, all done in shades of reds. I was curious to see if I could convey the warmth of sunlight using only red hues and was happy with the result. The viewer can also share a small moment of her otherwise moment of solitude in the sunlight.
